The modern construction sector is no exception, as Thermo-Mechanically Treated (TMT) bars are the unquestionable keystone of reinforced concrete (RCC) buildings. Their strength, ductility, and bond with the concrete are important aspects of safety and lifetime. Although, as part of the manufacturing process, TMT bars have their fundamental mechanical properties, due to the lack of rust, their functional reinforcement strength is severely and fundamentally affected in numerous and interacting ways.
